Pre-enrolment and Registration Update
Thanks to all the families who pre-enrolled before the deadline to help our school get ready for 2025–26! We’re happy to let you know that, based on available space, all students who registered or pre-enrolled before March 19, 2025, have been accepted. We look forward to seeing your family in the fall!
For the 2025/2026 school year, Clara Tyner School is full in planned classes from Kindergarten to Grade 6 in the regular program. A Kindergarten student who is a resident and lives in the school's attendance area may still register. We will only accept resident students in Grades 1 to 6 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school’s attendance area for the regular program. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.

Kindergarten age - Children who are five years old on or before December 31, 2025 may register in Kindergarten for the 2025-26 school year. The Alberta government changed the entry age for students registering in Kindergarten, beginning in 2020-21. The entry age is the first year that a child may enter Kindergarten, and does not mean it is the only year children are eligible for Kindergarten. This is based on Alberta Education funding guidelines.
